(The following programs are PRIOR, are only for communicating with third parties or locating you by rescue teams in case of distress, and are NOT required for your device to function on the hunt).
An active subscription is required to access the Iridium® satellite network for tracking and text messaging2, including SOS capabilities.
PROGRAM FEATURES
Activate an inReach1 subscription to send text messages or an interactive SOS message with your device by activating inReach satellite technology. Subscription plans give you the ability to check the weather when you're off the grid or send location updates to friends and family at home.
All prices are subject to change. Plans are billed on a monthly basis. The selected plan is automatically renewed each month unless the user changes plans or cancels the subscription before the renewal date. The activation fee applies to all programs and in the event of cancellation of the monthly subscription, you will be charged the activation fee again. When you receive a reply message, that message is removed from your pre-set plan total. Additional charges apply to text messages over the Iridium network when the plan's message limit has been reached. The above plan prices include VAT.
